AAA Four Diamond resort, The Meritage Resort and Spa, and its sister property, Vista Collina Resort, are going all out this holiday season with a festive fall and winter lineup that includes Thanksgiving Brunch, Wintertime Ice Rink, Carolers, Santa Visits, Tinsel Tea Experiences, Artisan Holiday Markets, a New Year’s Eve Gala and more.
Located in Napa Valley, California these two properties offer guests views of sun-kissed, hillside vineyards; luxury accommodations; luxe amenities that include a pool and on-site wine tasting rooms; serene spa treatments and more. It’s a great home base for wine tasting in the valley, as well as, exploring the best of what this area has to offer whether it be wineries, restaurants, shopping or outdoors activities.

Once the holidays hit, this resort complex is going to be the place to be when it comes to merriment and holiday cheer! Merry Meritage will be wine country’s only winter village. It will be the inaugural winter village for the resort complex and the beginning of a new holiday tradition.
“We are incredibly enthused to bring the first premier ice-skating experience to Napa Valley,” continues Leinacker. “Our ice rink will feature real ice rather than a synthetic surface and will be open from November 11 through January 2. To enhance the magic of the holiday season we are also excited to guarantee snow every day at 6:00pm under the twinkling lights of the resort lawn.”
“Downtown Napa hosted an ice rink know as Napa On Ice through 2019, when it was determined that this holiday experience would not continue, we saw the perfect opportunity to bring this experience back,” he continues. “Our goal is to provide an outlet for people to make lifelong memories and embrace the magic of the holidays under the twinkling vines of Napa Valley.”
The holiday festivities will also offer guests a selection of farm-to-table sweet treats, hot beverages, and holiday special programming like Veuve Clicquot Igloos and Tea time with house made sandwiches, cookies, storytelling and special princess appearances.
“Vincent Lesage, our Director of Culinary Experience with three-star Michelin restaurant experience, is passionate about providing a farm to table experience and we have strong relationships with a variety of local farms and artisan purveyors. This holiday season we will offer a variety of holiday themed cocktails, a hot cocoa charcuterie board and menus featuring the best the season has to offer.“
